Dojo monks took notice of this dancehall songstress last year with her smooth sing-jay style, tight hooks... and her ripe booty didn't hurt either! Recently signed to a four album deal with Universal, Tami is ready to blow up Sean Paul style. Having a mixed background (Black, White, Chinese & Cherokee) and having lived in UK & JA, everyone seems to be able to claim Tami Chin as their own. Also its nice to put her in the mix between roughneck DJs like Bounty & Capleton, helps to blow up the club and get ladies into the dancehall styles. Today the monks have served up a couple tracks, Tami doin her giant hit "Hyperventilating" on the popular Stepz riddim (goes good with Dojo pick 'Legalize It' also on Stepz) and the more recent "Hot!" on Black Chiney's massive Kopa riddim. 2005 should be a big year for Tami, we eagerly await for her debut album to drop later this year!
