What we've got here is an NWA Concert from 1989. You had all of NWA up there, Dr. Dre on the turntables, records skippin, NWA talking shit to the LAPD and the whole crowd yelling FUCK THE POLICE. They go thru some of their classics (Gangsta Gangsta, Dopeman, Boyz N Da Hood) before the show gets cut short by some gang fights that break out. What else you expect from an NWA concert? He has been working on a ton of new material, including his upcoming album, remix work for british rock band Keane and just finished a reissue project entitled "The Complete Mus-I-Col Recordings of J.C. Davis." JC Davis was James Brown's old bandleader. Somehow DJ Shadow got a hold of dude and brought his original masters back to life. That's Word! Check out The Megatroid Session, mixed by Diplo from Hollertronix and M.I.A. fame... He's bangin' M.I.A. from what we've heard. Maybe some of those crazy sounds came from them having sex on top of the mpc... you be the judge.

Today is March 16th 2005 and we are paying respect to our fallen soldier DJ Rob One of CBS, The FlyID Show, LORDS, and Shape Shifters. He passed away 5 years ago today from non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He always supported Grip and Digital Bombing even before it became a website. Rob One was the first high profile hip hop DJ to support jungle-turntablism... He once told us that, "Jungle Tools should be in every hip hop shop in the world." How many heads remember him slangin' vinyl outta his crate from the Con Art store back in 1989? Something was in the air the past weekend in NYC, besides the snowstorm. Digital Bombing crew happened to be there for the Starscream/N20 shows as Hiphop's top artists disintegrated into an all out beef. So what do we have here? A big publicity stunt? It's pretty elaborate if you ask me, but beef nowadays has proven to boost record sales. Word has it that 50 cent dissed a bunch of rappers on his latest track "Piggy Back"... He took jabs at Fat Joe, Jadakiss and a few others. G-Unit then announces that The Game has been dropped from their crew. Someone gets popped outside Hot 97. Jadakiss voices his opinion on DJ Clue's show... 50 then speaks his mind on Kayslays drama hour. Fat Joe calls in and rips 50 a new asshole, saying that "50 is CB4". He's already made a diss named Massacre of Fifty... Who knows how this will pan out. Peep the exclusive audio weve gathered...
