N2O Records 10th Year Anniversary Kick Off w/ DJ Starscream
If you don’t know who N20 Records is, you need to get up off the computer and out of your house and check out LA-based underground music. N20 Records has been putting out some of the most influential music in LA and around the world for the past 10 years. As seen in Vapors Magazine, N20 is one of the pioneers of underground Hip-Hop, Bass N’ Drums, Jungle, Dub, and Reggae music.
Nate Loc the owner and CEO started out as a BMX streetrider. He met up with DJ Product from HeD (pe) and started N20 Records with some other key players. Enter the Dojo was one of the best music events I’ve been to in a long time. Taking place January 19th, it had all the ingredients a club event needs to rock the crowd. They had TRE from the Pharcyde doing his solo thing, DJ Starscream aka Sid #0 of Slipknot, DJ RAW aka BBOY3000, DJ Shiro of Urban Assault and a host of others on the label. Stage diving was a part of the scene, as well as b-boying just killin' it at Zen Sushi in Silver Lake, CA.
Enter the Dojo event showcased DJ’s battling head-to-head 15 minutes each, Dub-plate-for-Dub-plate straight up mash-up OG style. The crowd went wild. And the winner is?
