Our friends at Smokin Mirrors just put out a compilation of music video they've produced over the years, mostly focusing on bands from the Eastside of LA, from Aztlan Underground, Quinto Sol, Sapos Muertos and more. One of our favorites is Quetzal, a rootsy band that meshes a myriad of latin rhythms with the son jarocho style of Veracruz. Quetzal's new video 'Planta De Los Pies' seamlessly intercuts shots of downtown LA and Xalapa Veracruz, and features members of the famous jarocho group, Son de Madera.
